Machine all Counter bore Surfaces in a Fraction of the Time!

The K-Line® 50000 Counter Bore Cutting Tool is a precision instrument designed to re-surface the counter bore ledge and provide the correct cylinder liner protrusion for the engine cylinder liner.

• No special bases required.
• The procedure can be performed with the engine in or out of the chassis.
• Does not require the operator to apply any downward force. Spring Plungers located in the Base Assembly apply all the downward pressure that the tool requires.
• No power tools required. Tool rotation is done by hand only.
• Set the tool one time and resurface all counter bores for the entire engine block.

• Troubleshooting

• • The Following items should be checked to help with accuracy:
  • Ensure the cutter base is smooth and free of burrs along with the deck of the block.
  • Try to torque the cutter base in the same manner and with the same amount of torque on each counterbore.
  • Check the carbside for chips and tightness.
  • Check to see if the cutter head runout can be cheked to ensure it true and has not been damaged.
  • Check that the deck is cleaned and stoned with no debris or dings and the same for the KL50000 base. When clamping down on the base try to avoid clamping in the center of the base where it could cause distortion in the cutter block
